定量又稱為克重，是衡量紙張物理性能的重要指標，一般來說，紙的定量高，它的抗張強度、環壓強度、撕裂度、挺度和厚度指標相對就高。用高定量的紙材制作瓦楞紙箱，其抗壓強度相對就高些。所以，要制作強度高的瓦楞紙箱，選擇高定量的紙材，往往是客戶的基本要求之一。

Generally speaking, the paper with high quantitative has relatively high tensile strength, ring crush strength, tearing strength, stiffness and thickness. Using high quantitative paper to make corrugated box, its compressive strength is relatively higher. 它是指每立方厘米紙張的重量，紙的緊度如何，反映了它的纖維組織結構的疏密程度。箱板紙和瓦楞紙的緊度值高，它們的耐破度、環壓強度、耐戳穿和抗張性能相對就好，那么，紙箱的整體強度相對也就高。但是，若緊度過大，紙材容易脆裂，尤其是白板紙，緊度值若明顯大于標準，其耐折度性能將會有所下降。

If the tightness value of cardboard and corrugated paper is high, their bursting strength, ring crush strength, puncture resistance and tensile performance are relatively good, then the overall strength of the carton is relatively high. However, if the tightness is too large, the paper is easy to crack, especially the white board. If the tightness value is significantly greater than the standard, the folding performance will decline.

一般來說，用環壓強度好的紙制作出來的紙箱強度相對就高。原紙的環壓指數如何，很大程度上影響著紙箱的整體強度，尤其是對紙箱的抗壓強度影響較大。

4、施膠度

紙張、紙板在生產時，施加一定量的松香膠等耐水性的膠體物后，使紙面增加抗水性，這種生產加工工藝稱為施膠。施膠度是衡量膠量大小的質量指標，按照標準，可采用墨水劃線法和表面吸收重量法進行檢測。工廠也可因陋就簡，用“滴水法”檢測紙面的施膠度。其做法是：在紙面滴一點水，若水滴洇滲速度快，說明施膠度不好;若水滴不易出現洇滲現象，水珠浮在紙面上，說明施膠度就好。制作瓦楞紙箱的原紙，要求施膠度要好，這樣不易吸濕，紙箱的含水率穩定，可較好地保證紙箱的強度。

The base paper for making corrugated box requires good sizing degree, which is not easy to absorb moisture, and the moisture content of the box is stable, which can better ensure the strength of the box.
5、含水率

所謂含水率是指紙或紙板中水分的含量，用百分比表示。含水率對紙箱箱體強度有著很大的影響，所以，這也是含水率成為紙箱的三個重要缺陷檢驗項目之一的主要原因。當紙箱的含水率偏高時，其耐戳穿抗壓強度和耐破強度等性能將相對下降。瓦楞紙具有一定的耐壓、抗張、抗戳穿和耐折性能，若水分含量過高的話，紙質就顯得柔軟、挺度差，壓楞和粘合質量也差。如果水分明顯低于下極限標準值時，壓楞時就容易出現破裂現象。如果瓦楞紙和箱板紙的水分含量懸殊過大時，單面機加工出來的瓦楞紙板，就容易出現卷曲，下工序裱合時就容易出現起泡和脫膠現象，使紙箱的強度明顯下降。

If the moisture content difference between corrugated paper and cardboard is too large, the corrugated paper produced by single-sided machining is easy to curl, and blistering and degumming are easy to occur in the next mounting process, so that the strength of the carton is significantly reduced.
6、耐折度

紙箱作為一種包裝容器，其搖蓋需經常作開啟活動，這就要求紙材應具有一定的耐折能力。紙的橫向耐折度是測定紙在一定的張力、速度和角度條件下，對150×15mm規格的試樣作1350角的往復性折疊試驗，當紙樣斷裂時，即為耐折度的檢驗次數。制造箱板紙和折板紙的漿料特性、紙的含水率、緊度、纖維長度和結合力的牢度以及原紙受存放時間和溫度等因素的影響，很大程度上決定著原紙的耐折度。所以，要提高紙箱的耐折度性能，做好原材料的質量把關是重要的一環。
